About OndLingua
01Our purpose
Mission
To make qualified interpreting easy to reach.
We exist to remove language as a barrier to care, to justice and to opportunity. In practice that means a roster of properly qualified, properly vetted linguists — and making the process of reaching one straightforward for the person who needs it, whether that is by phone, by video, on-site or booked ahead.
Vision
A world where language is never the obstacle.
We are building toward becoming a language services provider trusted across the public and private sectors — known for the calibre of our linguists, the integrity of every conversation we carry, and for a platform, now in development, that will make reaching them faster still.
02Our story
Too often, the person who needs an interpreter most is the one left waiting — while a qualified linguist sits available elsewhere. We set out to close that gap.
03Values
Four principles shape every assignment we carry and every interpreter we welcome into the network.
01
Professional, vetted linguists and clear standards on every assignment. We measure ourselves on the accuracy and care of each conversation we carry.
02
Language should never be the barrier between a person and the service they need. We are UK-based, with on-site interpreters across the UK and remote interpreting available internationally.
03
Confidentiality and integrity are built into how we work — from how we vet interpreters to how every session is handled and protected.
04
Our own platform — instant matching, client and interpreter portals, mobile apps — is in active development. Until it ships, every booking runs through a streamlined remote workflow on enterprise-grade phone and video tools.
04At a glance
Language support across every channel, built on a roster of vetted professional linguists — with our own platform in active development behind it.
Video, phone, scheduled and on-site interpreting across a wide range of languages — for healthcare, legal, government and business settings across the UK.
Accurate written translation and document services delivered by qualified linguists, with the same commitment to quality and confidentiality.
Every booking is coordinated by our team through a streamlined remote workflow. Our own instant-matching platform is in active development — we will say so plainly on the day it goes live.
05How we work
A language services provider is only as good as both sides of the connection — the interpreters who carry the conversation, and the clients who depend on it.
With our interpreters
Qualified & vetted
Every interpreter is identity-checked, qualified and assessed before they take an assignment — and aligned with recognised professional bodies.
Matched to specialism
Interpreters work in the fields they're proven in — clinical, legal, financial, technical — never stretched beyond their competence.
Supported, not sidelined
A direct relationship, fair engagement and the context they need to do their best work — interpreters are partners, not a commodity.
Held to a standard
Feedback on every assignment goes back into the roster, so the standard holds as we grow.

06At a glance
We are building OndLingua deliberately — broadening coverage, growing the roster and working toward formal certification as we scale. These are the only figures we will publish until there are real ones to report.
Standards & assurance
Certifications on roadmapThe conversations we carry are often the most sensitive ones people have. These are the commitments behind every one of them.
We work to the standards of the profession — interpreters holding a recognised qualification (DPSI, DPI, ITI, CIOL or equivalent) and registered with NRPSI or NRCPD where applicable. Registration is evidenced at vetting, before a first assignment.
Confidentiality is a duty, not a setting. Sessions are encrypted, interpreters are bound by professional confidentiality, and personal data is handled in line with GDPR and UK GDPR.
We measure ourselves on the accuracy and care of every conversation, with formal certifications on our roadmap as the company grows — an open commitment, openly held.
